BAD GIRL

One day a good girl, asked me why
life is  so so good for me
and I’ve always got a smile
cause she’s so perfect
the marrying kind
But every body knows
That I don’t walk that line

Cause I’m a bad girl
And I love drinking red wine
Smoking cigarettes
 and no steps to climb
And you’re a good girl
you love pure mountain air
Being Barefoot in the grass
And  Taking the stairs

One day my Momma
Asked me why
Why I’m not more settled down
Like the neighbor’s child
Cause she’s so perfect,
The housewife kind
But everybody knows
That I don’t want those ties that bind

Cause I’m a bad girl
I love gossiping
And I won’t see those pearly gates
(if) Sleeping late’s a sin
Cause she’s a Good girl
And she loves Drinking green tea
Waking up with the sun
Raising her family

One day my Daddy
Asked me why
Why I don’t just find a job
Like my cousin  Erica
Cause she’s so perfect
The hardworking kind
But everybody knows
That I’d be doing time

Cause I’m a bad girl
With a guitar
Singing like a vagabond
And sleeping in my car
And she’s a Good girl
With a big salary
Working 60 hours a week
Giving to charity

One day my sister
Asked me why
Why I don’t take more care
Of my waist line
Cause she’s so perfect
The top model kind
But everybody knows
That it comes and goes!

Cause I’m a  Bad girl
And I love expensive clothes
Eating pounds of chocolate
And sometimes eating crow
And she’s a good girl
She loves dieting
Saving for a rainy day
Prepared for anything
