MY SIDE

You’re lying here beside me but your a million miles away

I guess I’m still wondering what it is that makes you stay

We’ve become like strangers I don’t know you anymore

Are you trying to remember just what this ring was for?

My side

You’re not listening to

My Side

Try to understand

My side

You never wanna see

Now your side of the bed is empty do I have myself  to blame?

Why’d we end of taking sides?

Love is not a game.

Life isn’t just surprises a routine can settle in

You never brought me flowers like other men

Maybe I forgot to say “I love you” once or twice

We never talked about it and now we pay the price

If only I could take back my sorry attitude

Compromise did not exist, apologies were few,

This way of life we shared, we shared it all the way,

Now I know there’s no solution when I hear the words you say…

<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]-->

<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> <!--[endif]-->

Now my side of the bed is empty

Do you have yourself  to blame?

I guess we’ve always taken sides,

Some things will never change.
